Với sự phát triển của thời đại công nghệ, đặc biệt là thời đại công nghệ 4.0 nên nhiều người mong muốn được trải nghiệm các tiện ích mà công nghệ mang lại. Được ở và sở hữu căn nhà thông minh, các đồ nội thất trong nhà mình cũng như ở các đô thi thông minh, hiện đại là mơ ước của nhiều người. Với những sự tiện ích của công nghệ mang lại đem lại sự thuận lợi cũng như tiết kiệm nhiều chi phí hơn. Cục Thông tin KH&CN quốc gia trân trọng kính gửi đến các nhà khoa học những nghiên cứu mới nhất về SMART CITY trên thế giới. Bao gồm những bài viết đã được xuất bản chính thức và các bài viết được chấp nhận đăng trên những cơ sở dữ liệu học thuật chính thống  năm 2021.
